A Nottingham eaterie has topped The Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants list of best spots to dine out.
Restaurant Sat Bains shot up six places in this year's listings to take the prestigious top spot beating fellow Michelin two-star venues; Cambridge's Midsummer House, and L'Enclume in Cumbria to second and third respectively.
The venue - the only Midlands restaurant to make the top 20, was voted the best of the best based on diners' opinions.
The highest new entry on the list is Casamia in Bristol, run by brothers Pete and Jonray Sanchez-Iglesias, which entered the list in fourth place.
Restaurant Martin Wishart in Edinburgh rounds off the top five.
Last year's top restaurant, Fraiche near Birkenhead, Merseyside, dropped to number 22.
The biggest risers are Hibiscus in London's Mayfair which climbed 65 places to 32 in the list and Restaurant Story in Southwark, which moved up to 14th from number 77.
The full list which is published in the Sunday Times, compiled in association with Harden's, is based on 63,000 reviews from almost 7,000 diners.
London is the best represented location nationally with 44 restaurants placing, however it is the smallest number from the capital since the list was first compiled in 2010.
The cost of eating out varies widely among the top 100, ranging from £360 at Japanese restaurant The Araki in Mayfair, to £41 at the Applecross Inn - a fish and seafood restaurant in the Scottish Highlands.
Costs were based on a typical three-course dinner, or the equivalent, with half a bottle of house wine, coffee, service charge and VAT, calculated per person.
There are 16 different cuisines represented on the list, with modern British accounting for 48 of the restaurants.
Karen Robinson, editor of the Top 100, said: "Congratulations to everyone at Restaurant Sat Bains for topping The Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants, and to every restaurant on the list.
"We compile the top 100 by combining the reviews and opinions of thousands of diners, which proves that for any restaurant to be included, it must deliver consistently excellent food and service."
