Partick 'Wall Collapse' Sees Emergency Services Cordon Off Glasgow Street

'Dangerous building.'

A street in the west end of Glasgow has been cordoned off after a wall reportedly collapsed.

Emergency services were called to Benalder Street, in the Partick area of the city, about midday.

Record Online reported that there “have been some injuries”, but did not provide further details. Vehicles in the area were also said to have been damaged.

The website said that the affected property is at the rear of the Italian restaurant La Riviera, which fronts on to Dumbarton Road.

The BBC reported that the structure fell about 3.6m (12ft) from the top of a building on to the pavement.
