On Tuesday, the couple marked their second-eldest son’s big day with separate Instagram posts, with David sharing a touching slideshow of throwback pictures set to 4 Seasons Of Loneliness by Boyz II Men.
“Happy 18th to my little man ( or not so little anymore ),” David wrote. “You have grown into the most beautiful person and that as you say yourself ( a man finally ). We love you so much never give up on your dreams & goals.”
David added that the photo montage “shows [Romeo] from day one in my arms with the song you were born to up until our latest moment where yes I had to finally admit my son is taller than me”.
Romeo wrote back simply: “Love you dad.”
Victoria also shared a birthday tribute, which again consisted of a photo montage.
She wrote: “Happy 18th birthday @romeobeckham.... We couldn’t be prouder of the young man you have become.
“You are beautiful inside and out and we love you so much. The sweetest, kindest soul, our everything. So many kisses from us all.”
Romeo’s brothers Brooklyn and Cruz posted their own sweet messages, which included photos of them as young boys, with the former writing: “Happy 18th birthday Romeo x you are amazing and I hope you have the most amazing day… I love you so much.”
And while his nine-year-old sister Harper doesn’t have her own Instagram, David did include a post on her behalf on his Instagram story.
She said: “Happy birthday Roro, you deserve to be called a man. I love you, love Harper.”
Romeo’s girlfriend Mia Regan also shared a collage of them kissing, joking: “Kissy kissy 18th bby.”
The Beckhams have celebrated a number of milestone birthdays in 2020, with their eldest son Brooklyn seeing in his 21st with a huge bash back in March, before lockdown restrictions were introduced in the UK.
It’s actually only been a couple of months since the Beckhams last threw open the family photo album, treating us all to some candid snaps when David and Victoria celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary in July.
