Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding was gatecrashed by a disruptive reveller, who caused havoc as their invited guests began arriving at Windsor Castle.

Presenting particular problems for women wearing floaty dresses, Storm Callum swept into the courtyard just outside St George’s Chapel on Friday morning just as guests arrived.

A plethora of royals, as well as X factor judges Robbie Williams and Ayda Field, Brooksbank’s boss George Clooney and his wife Amal, had to contend with adverse weather conditions as the Queen’s granddaughter and ninth in line to the throne prepared to marry her long-term partner.

The storm is predicted to cause travel chaos around the UK later today, but it kicked things off by sending hats flying and skirts awry.
