Sponsored Instagram posts are part and parcel of life after Love Island and following his early departure form the current series, it appears Sherif Lanre has landed his first deal.

The 20-year-old’s time on the show ended last Tuesday, when bosses announced he had agreed to leave the villa after breaking an unspecified rule and now he’s back in the UK, he’s getting to grips with life as an ex-Islander.

Letting everyone know he has his first deal – though he didn’t actually mark the post as an ad... – Sherif shared a snap of himself in a car, clutching an air freshener.

Fresh out the villa & straight on the @CarFumeUK hype,” he wrote next to it. “They’ve got my car stinking of Creed, soo sick. Use SHERIF10 for money off.”

In the comments, Love Island 2018 star Josh Denzel wrote: “My g get that shmoneyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.”

Days under he left the villa under mysterious circumstances, Sherif gave a tell-all interview, in which he claimed he was pulled aside by producers after “accidentally” kicking a female Islander in the groin and making a joke about it being a “cunt-punt”.

His exit left Anna Vakiki single and after a few days alone, she’s hit it off with new arrival Jordan Hames.

Sherif was the second boy to leave the series, following Callum Macleod’s week one exit.

Since then, two more Islanders have left, with Joe Garratt and Elma Pazar leaving in a shock joint dumping on Tuesday night.
