But despite her being adamant she is not behind the mask, her fiancé Joe Swash is much less convinced, with the pair even having rows at home about it.
After watching last weekend’s episode – where panellist Rita Ora again stated her belief the former X Factor star is Sausage – Stacey revealed Joe questioned where she was when the show was being filmed, as she was not at home.
Speaking on Friday’s Loose Women, Stacey said: “He genuinely got the hump with me.
“He got the hump with me last weekend because he was like, ‘well where were you?’ and I told him I was doing a voiceover.
“And he goes, ‘but really where were you? Because if I found out you’re a sausage...’
“I was like, ‘what has my life become’,” she added.
Stacey also referenced how convinced Joe is that she is Sausage on her Instagram Story, writing: “I’ve got a really busy day today and Hoe already thinks I’m going to put my Sausage costume on [sic].”
During her Loose Women appearance, Stacey also insisted to her fellow panellists she was not competing on the ITV show.
“Linda, would I not tell my partner and my best friends?! Stacey told Linda Robson.
“But also let’s be fair, I’m assuming it’s a pork sausage, and how inappropriate for me – a lovely Jewish girl – to be prancing around as a pork sausage!”
While many – including Joe – are convinced Stacey is Sausage, there is plenty of evidence to suggest it is actually Sheridan Smith in the giant saveloy.
Sausage will compete alongside Robin, Badger, Harlequin and Dragon in this week’s Masked Singer semi-final, before two stars are unmasked.
The Masked Singer continues on Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
