'Strictly Come Dancing' Week 7 Songs And Dances Confirmed

It will be hard to top the Halloween special.

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ bosses have confirmed the songs and dances the contestants will be performing to this week.

With the half-way point of the competition now passed, celebrities will be stepping things up, as they do everything they can to stay in the competition as the Blackpool special draws ever closer.

Saturday’s live show will see them taking on a range of dance styles, with songs by the likes of George Michael, Blondie and Alicia Keys.

There will also be the second Street/Commercial couple’s choice dance of the series, which Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton have picked.

Here’s the full rundown of what to expect...

  • Ashley and Pasha will be dancing the Foxtrot to ‘Orange Coloured Sky’ by Natalie Cole
  • Lauren and AJ will be dancing the Jive to ‘Girlfriend’ by Avril Lavigne
  • Stacey and Kevin will be dancing Street and Commercial to ‘Empire State Of Mind (Part II)’ by Alicia Keys
  • Faye and Giovanni will be dancing the Tango to ‘Call Me’ by Blondie
  • Kate and Aljaz will be dancing the Argentine Tango to ‘Assassin’s Tango’ by John Powell
  • Danny and Amy will be dancing the Quickstep to ‘Freedom’ by Pharrell Williams
  • Dr. Ranj and Janette will be dancing the Samba to ‘Freedom 90’ by George Michael
  • Charles and Karen will be dancing the Viennese Waltz to ‘Piano Man’ by Billy Joel
  • Graeme and Oti will be dancing the Waltz to ‘The Last Waltz’ by Engelbert Humperdinck
  • Joe and Dianne will be dancing the Paso Doble to ‘Pompeii’ by Bastille

Stacey left ‘Strictly’ fans worried about her current state of health on Tuesday, after sharing a cryptic Instagram post hinting she’d broken a bone.

While the release of her dance choice could act as confirmation she will still perform on Saturday, neither her personal representative or spokespeople for the show responded to HuffPost’s request for clarification.

Stacey herself has also remained silent on the matter on social media, despite many fans messaging her with their concerns.

Last weekend’s Halloween special saw both Ashley Roberts and Faye Tozer top the leaderboard with 39 points a piece, following their respective Charleston and Theatre Jazz routines.

However, the biggest talking point of the evening though was not what was going on on the floor, but what Nicole Scherzinger muttered to host Tess Daly during a particularly awkward live link.

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ continues on Saturday at 7.05pm on BBC One.
