So it's #TeacherAppreciationDay and this is making me think of the first teacher who introduced me to the world of cinema and film making Mme Assaad. I was only 11 then and she put the wheels in motion for the journey to begin, leading me to here today. She was Awesome!

Hugh Black-Hawkins taught English from an armchair, claimed the ghost of Shakespeare floated above, and turned an A-Level class into a group of co-conspirators. He encouraged us to question everything and fear nothing. We felt special.
