They Yelled Bravo!

They Yelled Bravo!

Saturday August 11th, 2012

We had a great show this morning. (The Property Known As Garland) The audience loved it, and some people even yelled 'Bravo' during the curtain call. One really nice guy told me he thought I did a better job at being Judy than Traci Bennet. High praise indeed.

We've seen two shows today. A New Zealand drama about capital punishment, called 'A Cry Too Far From Heaven', and an earnest young post-apocaplyptic folk musical called '1,000 Suns'.

We had supper at the place with the good Italian ice cream 'Martone'. Glenn had cannelloni, (his entree was better than mine) and I had penne with broccoli and white wine sauce, (good but not memorable). There is a distinct ship/pirate type theme going on in that restaurant. In the floor there was clear plexiglass and you could see the buried treasure. Then there was a cage hanging from the ceiling with a skeleton in it. The waiter told us that was a patron who neglected to tip.

Short post, but a long day.

We get to sleep in tomorrow!!!!!! Sunday is the day off from doing our show.
