For anyone currently struggling with lockdown boredom, it would seem that former Strictly Come Dancing stars Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell know exactly what you’re going through.

The pair – who are currently on lockdown together, having been in a relationship since their time on Strictly in 2018 – revealed they’re keeping themselves entertained by raiding the dressing-up box, paying homage to a certain Netflix documentary in the process.

In an Instagram post shared on Easter Sunday, Joe and Dianne revealed their Tiger King-inspired outfits, as they struck a variety of poses in character as Carole Baskin and Joe Exotic.

“It’s easier to social distance when you’re both dressed as two people that hate each other,” the YouTube vlogger joked.

That night, Joe also revealed on his TikTok that he’d created a “DIY outdoor cinema” for Dianne in their garden, using a bedsheet and a projector, for them to watch Friends on...

However, Joe and Dianne aren’t the only stars to pay tribute to the cast of the weird and wonderful Netflix documentary series while we’re all stuck indoors.

Earlier this month, Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto donned a wig and cowboy hat to give his best Joe Exotic on Instagram, while Sylvester Stallone ended up getting his whole family in on the fun…

Last week, Robbie Williams also made headlines when he took inspiration from Tiger King as he and his wife Ayda Field posted their own take on a workout video.

Admittedly, Ayda took on most of the exercising duties, while the singer sported his iconic Rock DJ pants and a cowboy hat…

Following Tiger King’s success, Netflix released one last episode of the documentary, dubbed The Tiger King And I, over the weekend.

It was also recently reported that Ryan Murphy – the man behind hit shows like American Horror Story, Pose and American Crime Story – was putting together a miniseries about the events of the documentary, with Rob Lowe in the lead role of Joe Exotic.
