It's his new favourite word.

Every parent knows that when a toddler learns a new word, they’ll repeat it 100 times over. And 100 times over again.

This one-year-old heard his dad – rapper Koo Hefner – being called “bae” by his mum, and decided he was going to use that word forever more.

In the adorable clip, shared by Hefner, the toddler repeatedly refers to his dad as “bae”, despite Hefner’s continuous attempts to change it to “dada”.

“He only calls me bae,” the dad said. “Even though I was always ‘dada’ since his first words.”

Guess Hefner will just have to roll with it – bae does mean “before anyone else” after all.
