On the red carpet ahead of the Emmys, Tom Hiddleston was keen to confirm that he and Taylor Swift are no more than friends, and it seems he’s not wasting any time in moving on.
The actor, who was nominated for his star turn in ‘The Night Manager’, also took to the stage to present an award with actress Priyanka Chopra, and the pair reportedly hit it off, and spent more time together at one of the Hollywood afterparties.
Addressing their time at one of the swish bashes, a source tells The Sun that the duo swapped numbers, adding: “He had his arm around her and held her close.
“Afterwards Tom and Priyanka talked closely and were holding hands — at one point for a few moments.
Earlier in the evening, Tom faced multiple questions about his relationship with Taylor while on the red carpet, telling People magazine, “Yes, yes we are”, when asked if he was still friends with the ‘Bad Blood’ singer.
Tom and Taylor’s whirlwind romance lasted a grand total of three months, during which time they enjoyed countless holidays and even met each other’s parents.
They called it quits earlier months though, amid claims that Laurence Olivier Award winner and BAFTA nominee Tom was using Taylor to further his media profile.
