Thursday 25th July

The first show to have grabbed our gigging attention this week is an appearance from the brilliant Longfellow on a cracking Club Fandango bill. It's felt like an age since the Londoners were regularly touring the circuit; a few months of hardcore writing, recording and line-up rejiggery occupying a fair amount of their time. They've been firm favourites at Emerging Icons HQ for quite a while now, having made several appearances for us at London 2012 and joining us for an al fresco session in Kings Cross last summer. (Why does that last bit sound so sleazy?) The development they've undergone in that short time is incredible, as latest single 'Gabrielle' has shown. We can't wait to see Longfellow v2.0 doing what they do best- so head along to this show if you can.

Friday 26th July

Now in it's seventh year, Redhill's Redfest has gained a reputation of being one of the best and most rapidly growing festivals in the jam-packed summer season. With an impressive bill that boasts names from across the alt spectrum from Bastille and Dry The River to Bury Tomorrow and Turbowolf; they also are great advocates for providing a platform for new and emerging talent. Needless to say, we like their style. As well as Emerging Icons alumni The Other Tribe and Brother & Bones, there's also room for our brilliant rising talents such as Jazz Morley and these guys- Dance A La Plage. Since we first discovered them a few months ago we've been banging on about how perfect their sunshine-stuffed melodies are for festival season... and now you have your chance to see why. If you're there, make them a top priority as they take to the Boileroom stage.

Friday 26th July

Our summer residency at Westfield London continues next week with another fantastic pick n' mix of sounds, genres and awesome talent from the very best Emerging Icons. From the blues of the David Sinclair Trio to the country-inspired pop melodies of Earle Rhodes, we like to think there's a little summat for everyone. Hoping to raise the roof on Friday is the hip-rock hurricane that is Olos; making his mark at Westfield with an extra-special knees up for all that drop by. His set is doubling up as his exclusive 'Real Talk' single launch - and it's an utter belter we can tell you. His charisma and brilliant flair for performance alone would make this an unmissable show- but as this is a particularly special night, you really don't want to miss out.

Friday 26th July

Rock n' roll, rhythm n' soul and bluestastic wonderment await the crowd at Camden's Barfly next Friday as The Vitamins roll into town. As their name may suggest, a dose of this lot will do you plenty of good- particularly if you're a fan of getting a bit sweaty. With influences ranging from Black Sabbath to The Band, the heavy guitar work and deep grooves are bound to work their fiery magic on any crowd... but will prove particularly potent in North London's most rocking hotspot. Their sound is loud, raw and fantastically dirty- proper balls out, testosterone-fuelled action. Don't let the close mentions of 'sweaty' and 'balls' put you off. This is gona be a cracking gig make no mistake.

Sunday 28th July

When the words 'haunting' and 'beautiful' aren't being used to describe sexy ghosts, they ware quite often adjectives being flung in the direction of London-based singer-songwriter Michael Reeve. The former Absolute Radio Emerging Icons artist of the week has a special ingredient in his sound that has bewitched audiences here, there and everywhere- from peeps at the Beeb to MTV. He's bringing his gift for live acoustic performance to our chilled Sunday bill at Westfield London next week- and it's gonna be gorgeous. Having been previously compared to the likes of Gary Lightbody, his voice is one that'll be getting hair stood up on backs of necks, no probs. If you fancy a tingly musical experience to round off your weekend, make sure you're there.

If you can't make it down to any of these shows, don't panic! There are plenty more just waiting to be discovered. All you have to do is click on the GIGS tab at the top of our homepage where you can find listings from loads more amazing artists!
