As glamorous as they are, there’s no denying that sitting through a two-hour awards ceremony can be a bit of a chore.
So perhaps then, you decided to skip this year’s TV Baftas, which took place on Sunday night.
Some of the biggest names from the small screen were there as host Graham Norton handed out the gongs - three of which ended up going to Killing Eve.
But there was much more to the evening than just the formal proceedings, so if you did miss the show, here’s the eight moments you need to see now...
Tess Daly is not impressed at Graham Norton’s gags
While a lot of people welcomed the return of Graham Norton as host of the ceremony, one person who didn’t seem as enthused was Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly.
The presenter was less than impressed when he cracked a joke about Strictly contestant Seann Walsh’s infamous kiss with professional partner Katya Jones while talking about Line Of Duty in his opening monologue.
She was left stony-faced after he remarked: “A more forensic and detailed interrogation of times, dates and mobile phone data hasn’t been seen since that time Seann Walsh got home late from Strictly practise.”
Awkward.
Line Of Duty’s Stephen Graham and Martin Compston as a comedy duo
Having spent the last few weeks at odds as DS Steve Arnott and DS John Corbett in Line Of Duty, it was almost unsettling to see Stephen Graham and Martin Compston being nice to one another as they presented an award.
What we weren’t expecting though was for them to be somewhat of a comedy duo, with Stephen taking the mick out of Martin’s real-life Glaswegian accent, before accidentally whipping out a KitKat while reaching for his glasses to read out the winner.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s joy at Fiona Shaw’s win
Just when we couldn’t love PWB any more, her unbridled joy at seeing Killing Eve star Fiona Shaw receive the award for Best Supporting Actress made our heart swell. And also made us even sadder that we’re not getting another series of Fleabag. Speaking of which...
Fleabag and The Priest’s reunion
If like us, you’re still not over the end of Fleabag, which saw Phoebe’s character fail to make a go of it with The Priest, then you will likely will have jumped for joy when they were reunited on stage to present an award.
But then came a joke about cutting things down in their prime.
Too soon, guys. Too soon.
Ant McPartlin ensuring Holly Willoughby got her moment
In one of the sweetest moments of the night, Ant McPartlin pushed Holly Willoughby into the limelight after I’m A Celebrity won the award for Best Reality And Constructed Factual Show.
Holly stepped in for Ant alongside Declan Donnelly on last year’s series, following his conviction for drink-driving and subsequent rehab stint.
And while Ant still went up with the pair to collect the award, he pushed Holly to the front to ensure she was rightly recognised for her part in making the series such a success.
Friends is called out for its lack of diversity
Friends’ lack of diversity was the butt of one of the best gags of the night, as star David Schwimmer presented an award with Nick Mohammed.
“We’re also here to celebrate the huge, huge array of diversity within BAFTA,” Nick said. “Not just on display across all the shows nominated tonight, but also in terms of those presenting the awards.”
David replied: “That’s right, look at us. Only 50% of us is white heterosexual male,” to which Mohammed added: “And we all remember how diverse Friends was...”
David continued: “Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, it was a groundbreaking show in that fully half the cast were women, and I made sure we were all paid equally.”
Mohammed replied: “Wasn’t Courteney Cox making more than the rest of you when you first started?”
“Yes, that was a problem,” David joked.

Killing Eve was named Best Drama during the ceremony, so what was the first thing creator and writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge could think to say as she collected the award?
Yes, that’s right: “Fuck!”

Jodie Comer’s tears as she wins Best Actress
Speaking of Killing Eve, it scooped another top prize of the night when Jodie Comer was named Best Actress for her role as Russian assassin Villanelle.
And her speech was one of the most adorable of the night, as she apologised for her tears, praised her “inspirational” friend Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and thanked Line Of Duty star Stephen Graham for helping her during the early days of her career.
An award very well deserved, we’re sure you’ll agree.
