2 Weeks to Go Until UFC:Nottingham

This week's training has been really positive and I'm feeling really great with just 2 weeks left to go until my fight against Matt Wiman in Nottingham on 29 September.

This week's training has been really positive and I'm feeling really great with just 2 weeks left to go until my fight against Matt Wiman in Nottingham on 29 September.

I started off on Monday focussing on my grappling and wresting, and that evening moved on to practise my Thai boxing followed by pads. Tuesday is certainly my hardest day, the guys at the gym have given Tuesday's the nickname terror Tuesday for obvious reasons. We did a lot of MMA sparring, drills and pads, it was difficult but it's good to be pushed by my coach. That night I wrapped up the day with a wrestling class.

Wednesday's routine is almost the same as Monday, but with boxing in the evening. After the night classes I actually had a little time out and went to the cinema with some mates - we saw 'The Watch', it was good I would really recommend it.

Thursday followed Tuesday's routine but was not quite as tough. We did some MMA drills and MMA sparring, followed at the end by a killer abs circuit. On Friday we did loads of grappling followed in the night by Thai pads, then for dinner I headed out to Nandos I love the food there and it's really healthy so I can go whilst training for a fight too.

On Saturday there were 6 lads who train out of my gym, Team Kaobon, had their own fights so I wanted to show my support for them - all of the Kaobon competitors won, it was a great show at the Liverpool Olympia.

Tickets for UFC:Nottingham are available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk and www.ufc.com, come down to support me on the 29th September at the Capital FM Arena.
