The moment every I’m A Celebrity fan looks forward to each year is here, as three brave celebrities take on the infamous eating challenge on Tuesday night.
And while there’ve been plenty of changes to the ITV reality show for 2020, one thing remains the same – this Bushtucker Trial is as gruesome as ever.
In a preview of Tuesday night’s episode, Vernon Kay has an encounter with a grim-looking deer testicle.
Hosts Ant and Dec present him with a “nuts roast”, which contains the, errrrm, delicacy that Vernon must eat in order to win a meal for camp.
“Stop laughing!” he shouts at the TV duo, who are amused to say the least.
“Oh, it’s not even warm,” he remarks as he picks it up.
But things get a lot worse when he puts it in his mouth and there is a sudden pop, releasing some form of liquid that makes him choke.
“Oh god, what’s that that’s just come out of it,” Vernon’s fellow campmate Jordan North asked.
The pair will be taking on the trial alongside Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard, after they were selected by the voting public.
Jordan also appears to be a lot calmer sat round the table than he was during Monday night’s episode, when he was faced with the Viper Vault challenge.
The Radio 1 DJ was crowned the “most terrified I’m A Celebrity contestant ever” as he broke down in tears when faced with being locked in coffin with a bunch of snakes.
