The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2016 is almost upon us, so what better time to take a trip down memory lane and look back at every single catwalk show ever held.

Held in 1995, the first ever VS Fashion Show was a stripped back affair - a far cry from the multi-million dollar, live music-packed extravaganzas we know and love today.

One thing that has always been a staple for the lingerie brand is supermodels: from Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks in the 90s, to Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid today.

Some more fun facts: the famous angel wings were introduced in 1998, Victoria’s Secret’s ‘Pink’ brand first made it to the runway in 2006, and the 2004 show was cancelled due to a widespread crackdown on ‘indecency’ after that Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake incident at the Super Bowl.
