Vegan Christmas by Gaz Oakley
We weren't convinced it would be possible to make the classic Chrissy dinner vegan and get away with it, but Gaz Oakley pulls it off. The book walks you through the day from Christmas morning through to leftovers, and even edible gifts. There's a vegan substitute to everything from streaky bacon to mince pies. It's unexpected, but go on, you're intrigued.

The Wicked Healthy Cookbook by Chad Sarno, Derek Sarno & David Joachim
HuffPost UK
According to these chefs (and brothers), Wicked Healthy means "good-for-you food that tastes so good you think it must be bad for you." That's the dream isn't it? They've put 30 years of experience as chefs into a guide on how to live vegan, really enjoy it and ultimately live a healthier life.

This cookbook is for the serious vegan foodies. Kenney's goal is to elevate vegan cooking to culinary masterpieces. Think carrot-ginger kelp noodles and hibiscus strawberry cheesecake. There's a lot of great cookbooks for vegans starting out, or keeping it simple, but it's great to see vegan haute cuisine developing too. Challenge accepted.
