AWKWARD: Viral 'Women For Brett Kavanaugh' Photo Has More Men Than Women In It

The Supreme Court nominee has been accused of sexual assault.

A month-old photo featuring women who support Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is going viral for all the wrong reasons.

The image, shared on Twitter by writer and artist Eli Valley, has more men than women in it:

The “Women for Kavanaugh” image came from a bus tour organized in August by Concerned Women for America, a conservative group that wants to “bring Biblical principles into all levels of public policy.”

In 2014, Concerned Women for America received more than $8 million from the Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, which is funded by billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch, ProPublica reported.

Last week, Kavanaugh was accused of sexual assault when he was a teenager, and prior to that, he was accused of being hostile to women’s rights, including reproductive rights.

Protesters dressed in “A Handmaid’s Tale” costumes even demonstrated outside his confirmation hearing earlier this month.
