Want to Enjoy a Bit of Imagination?

With only a few days of London 2012 Olympics to go, chances are that it's already too late to get a ticket to any of the events - unless you have Olympic Family connections.

With only a few days of London 2012 Olympics to go, chances are that it's already too late to get a ticket to any of the events - unless you have Olympic Family connections. However, it's still not too late to visit the National Hospitality Houses where you can meet and greet the athletes (if you're lucky) and view screenings of the games. Either way, it's going to be a wonderful cultural experience. Just make sure you know how to speak their language so you don't end up being a subject of ridicule. Alternatively, you can bring a friend who can speak the language for you.

The Viking Boat

I've only been to Denmark's IMAGINATION so far, which is situated in St. Katharine Docks, but I can definitely vouch for their tasty free hot dogs on offer. Apart from the hot dogs, they also have a viking ship on display, a LEGO model of the Olympic Park and a huge screen playing the day's Olympic activities. The Danes will also show off their dancing prowess with 3 of their dance groups performing from Aug 9-12 during certain times in the morning, midday and afternoon. So if you fancy yourself some Danish culture, a lively crowd and a nice Olympic screening accompanied with a tasty hot dog, head over to St. Katharine Docks to join in on the action.

Alternatively, check out the other National Hospitality Houses here.
