Don't beat yourself up
Feeling guilty or ashamed about being jealous will lead into a downward spiral. Instead recognise that jealousy is just a passing feeling, it is not who you are. Many people feel jealous, including the person you are jealous about!
Turn jealousy on it's head
Being jealous is life telling you to appreciate yourself and the gifts you have. Think about what makes you unique and the things you are good at.
Recognise what makes you happy
Build up your confidence by doing things you enjoy. You will smile a lot more and this is a gift in and of itself.
Re-focus your attention
Instead of focusing your energy and head space on the thing that makes you jealous, do something active to progress yourself further in life. Be the centre of your universe rather than spending your days orbiting around others. Be your own fan
