The Terminator star couldn't help but compare his new ticker to the robotic one from his most famous franchise.
The action star told German newspaper Bild that he was baffled by the ordeal.
The actor discussed societal fears over artificial intelligence as he reflected on his starring role in the 1984 classic.
"It wasn’t meant to be, like, a big moment, at all," director James Cameron revealed.
“He was, always for years and years, is a huge, huge star,” he said. “And I think that he will always be remembered as a great, great star. And a kind man.”
The actor has come under fire with many fans calling the gesture “tacky.”
“He did it deliberately, right in my face.”
The Hollywood star described himself as a "longtime friend of the Russian people" who are being lied to by the Russian leader.
The former bodybuilder and governor of California was pictured at the scene of the crash on Friday afternoon.
The pair had previously been engaged in a war of words after a comment the Hollywood star made in 2007.
