I don't think that we will ever see an end to horse racing, as it is deeply embedded in British Culture, however we can certainly bring attention to improvements which so desperately need to be made. By wearing this hat, I am hoping to open up a calm and civilised discussion with MPs and those in the horse race industry on how we can move forward.
If you grew up in the 1970s and 1980s like I did, that first school trip may have been a day out at the zoo. Close your eyes and remember just how exhilarating it was to see wild animals in the flesh - to watch them, hear them and even to smell them.
On the borders of Windsor Great Park, less than an hour from London, Coworth Park, a luxurious Georgian country house hotel, was the ideal base for our hiking and history mini-break.
