Ball gown

Angie Emrys-Jones from Cornwall started “Put Your Bins Out In Your Ball Gown” after an event she was attending with friends was cancelled. Not wanting their beautiful ball gowns to go to waste, they all agreed to take photos of themselves putting their bins out in their fancy gear. The Facebook group has since grown to 30 000 members from all over the world. Emrys-Jones spoke to HuffPost about how the group brings some silliness and escapism for people struggling during lockdown.
