Celebrity Big Brother
For John Bercow, it will be an uncomfortable and embarrassing time. He'll be grateful that Parliament is in recess as that will provide some respite
Of late Sally Bercow has been attempting a backwards Lembit Opik: whilst the path from politician to media personality is a well-trodden one, it seems harder to perform the reverse.

Charlie Sheen is reportedly on the verge of a £6 million ($9.9 million) deal to join the cast of Celebrity Big Brother.
2000 years on, the "circuses"remain an effective tool for keeping the hoi polloi suitably distracted. The scripts have remained much the same, although the current batch go as far as creating an illusory sense of democracy, with the democratic narrative of reality TV voting proving far more popular than that of any genuine leadership election.
About Celebrity Big Brother
Since it first threw open its doors in 2001, the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house has gone on to become one of Britain's most notorious residences. Hosted by Emma Willis (formerly Davina McCall and Brian Dowling), 'CBB' started out as a smaller counterpart to the original 'Big Brother' series, but over the years it's earned a name for itself separately from the main show, and is now one of the giants of reality TV. During its time on the air, it's been responsible for some landmark reality moments, including the arrival of Jackie Stallone, George Galloway's stomach-churning impression of a cat, the romance between Chantelle Houghton and Preston, not to mention Denise Welch frolicking in a hot tub with no top on. In latter years, there have also been arguments aplenty, whether it's Julie Goodyear squaring up to Coleen Nolan, Pete Burns laying into Jodie Marsh or Katie Hopkins telling Perez Hilton exactly what she thinks of him. The January 2017 series took on an 'All Stars And New Stars' theme, with some former housemates returning to live with a batch of new famous contestants, while 2018 saw the 'Year Of The Woman', kicking the January run off with an all-female line-up.
