As fashion events go, New York Fashion Week is certainly one of the most notable. Held between 7 - 13 September this year, the celebration of style brings together some of the greatest minds from all over the globe to share their latest creative offerings.
Sure, the RompHim might not be the ideal outfit for every man, but its first run of designs sold out in less than a week, proving that there is a clear demand for items that blur the line between male and female fashion -- providing they are still stylish and functional, of course.
These results seem to indicate that the idea of professional, one-on-one styling is all but dead. While it might have been an innovative and exciting concept when it was first introduced, the expectations and needs of consumers have evolved in accordance with the digital age we live in and traditional personal shopping has simply failed to keep up with the times.
