Public Health England is urging those eligible to get their free flu jab this winter – particularly those with underlying health conditions.
Many people are mulling over their last cold or flu and wondering if the symptoms were actually Covid-19.
The vaccine is available in Boots, Superdrug and other places on the high street this year.
Adam Blackman, who ended up in a coma, said: "I would urge everyone to get the flu vaccine, so they don’t have to go through the hell I’ve been through."
"We realised that our seven-week old baby wasn't ever going to get any better," said mum Nikki.
Schools will need to reschedule vaccination sessions planned for mid-November.

Flu vaccinations tend to be offered by the NHS from September onwards.
The headteacher said she made the decision after an “unprecedented level” of staff fell ill.
