Frieze Art Fair

And now for something completely different. Thursday night in London was the West End Night with most of the contemporary galleries staying open for all those visiting London to have a look after a long day at any one of the fairs.
The following images are of pieces that took my fancy and are in no order of preference or even when I came across them at the fair.

As usual big players such as Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth and Werner did not fail to deliver. The Spanish gallery Helga de Alvear brought intricate sculptural pieces by the Portuguese artist Jose Pedro Croft.
Visiting Frieze this year it was hard to remember that only a sliver of fabric stands between the people involved in the Occupy Wall St. Movement and the ultra-wealthy collectors whose families really do occupy Wall St.
