how to deal with anxiety

As many of you will know I've written extensively on this subject. My own experience being a heavy and unspoken cloud of depression, which engulfed me both before and more so after the suicide of my brother thirteen years ago.
If you feel scared for no reason or there's a voice that's telling you you're rubbish and everyone else is fine or better, I want to tell you, it's just not true. You're a brilliant, good person and you don't have to live with feeling crap.
But in my experience it can be ANYONE, and never think that the most confident, happy and loudest are okay, as along with everyone else they're usually the ones dealing with something like chronic stress, severe depression or anxiety.
Given all of this, maintaining a sound mind in the Big Smoke has got to be about finding things that are readily at your disposal and using them to minimise stress - to help you manage the mental health minefield of London from within. Here are some easy, city-centric suggestions:
Ring any bells? Procrastination is pretty familiar to most of us. We're all guilty of putting off chores or unpleasant tasks from time to time and it's understandable to put off the things that aren't so much fun. But procrastination doesn't just affect the things that don't matter.
Just as vulnerability is helpful in the right doses, so is failure.
Being a teenager is difficult enough in its own right. There's so much changing in their lives that it's normal for them to feel the strain. However, those feelings can quite easily roll over into anxiety. What do you do when your teenager is suffering with these feelings?

I can't easily control the fact my personality may be un-ideal, or that I have the wit of a manatee, and I certainly can't control the thought process of other people, I can however take control and even ownership of the superficial elements of my personal presentation, namely how I dress.
