The first class will always be hard and you will feel slightly at a disadvantage but not knowing the lay of the land. I remember a couple of years ago trying a step aerobics class, (now back then I didn't have the professional like rhythm I have now......)
In rehab I realised I was not special... It was there in sober reflection I had the lightbulb moment. It sounds daft now. A simple thing I didn't see, or more likely, as a stubborn Northern Taurean, refused to see. It was choice.
It doesn't matter how fit you are, but if you do exercises that your body is not used to, you will really feel them in muscles that you never thought you even had.
I am determinedly focused on finding any excuse possible to not do any exercise. Winter, is for me, an unending source of excuses.
