If you are not then have you been a victim of judgement? Have you ever had to defend your parenting choices? Have you ever been reduced to tears of frustration in your inability to articulate your hurt about the passive aggressive, loud enough to hear but not loud enough to address TUT from behind you in the supermarket?
When was the last time you made a judgement about yourself or someone else? I'll bet it has happened today. We make judgements constantly throughout our waking hours based on our conditioning, our experiences, our faith and a whole host of other influences.
According to the Dalai Lama, all people have one thing in common: they want to be happy. And it is true, all people do want to be happy - it's just that some of us partake in behaviours, that although may bring us some temporary relief, are also destructive to us in the long run.
The more you insist on removing, taking away and forbidding, the more your body and mind will crave whatever you have confiscated. You will want it more (and more and more and more.) This will not create a harmonious relationship between your heart and body.

Whatever profession you are in; whether a teacher, a nurse or an architect; you will be more effective, productive and creative when you include a mindful practice into your working and personal life.
