I am enjoying being in the company of those who recognise the opportunities that a qualifications framework creates and proud that I am able to offer my support as Bosnia and Herzegovina attempts to realise those opportunities. I am worried though that in the UK we have got so used to having the FHEQ that we have become complacent as to its importance, we must all guard against this.

If we look at the engineering sector, for example, only 8% of engineers in the UK are women . In fact, the UK has the lowest percentage of female engineering professionals in Europe.
Here are my suggestions on what to do with the next year. Take a step back and really think about what you want from the next 40 years of work. It's a long time to be doing anything, so don't rush it. Surround yourself with people and things that inspire you. Learn everything you can.
