slow living

So the boy has been starkers since approximately 6.30pm last night. He didn't fancy putting on his pyjamas, wasn't pushed when it came to getting dressed this morning and is now happily enjoying a post-lunch nap, au natural.
You know when you start learning how to drive, and all you notice when you walk around are road signs? They've been there all your life, but you never noticed them. And now they're everywhere.
Hearing that you need to take more time off when you're ill can be frustrating when you have bills to pay and a family to feed, but learning how to look after yourself and slowdown could prevent a devastating burnout.
I wanted to test my creativity. To see what would happen when I get truly, truly bored of wearing the same things, day after day. To see how many times it is possible to patch the knees on a pair of jeans. To see if I can learn to love the clothes I already have.
We have just kicked off our fourth SLOW LIFE Symposium and I look forward to three days of serious and interesting discussions with a group of some of the most influential minds in sustainability.
