As regular readers will know, I run Creative Skills for Life (CSL) a campaigning social venture that works with like-minded organisations; notably Innovate UK, the government's innovation agency.
Like Apple, their ability to see the direction of the market and deliver the product to meet consumer needs is unparalleled in the TV industry. Therefore, it seems likely that Sky Q will set a new standard for the TV experience.
London is commonly considered the UK's test bed for technology and innovation. As a hub for digital technology, it comes as no surprise that driverless cars, the most controversial motor innovation of recent times, would be trialled in the capital to show its potential for the rest of the country.

Infographic. A word largely unknown in 2009 is now something that PR firms are filling my inbox with daily. They are all over social media, and they sneak up on me anywhere I might expect a picture. For me, the use of an infographic says one thing above all else "We have some information that we want to keep secret from blind people".

While this throwaway culture is definitely good for games companies and the business at large, it's turning gaming into a more commodity-driven industry that's just not quite as soulful or special as it used to be - which is a shame.
