The more you practise, the deeper you go, you begin to break patterns in life that no longer serve you, you find a deeper peace in life as you take your practise out of the hot room and all the alignment you find in the yoga, you bring to your daily life.
You may have worked hard during the warmer months to live healthier and actively and so it requires more effort and willpower to keep going, especially as the hot chocolate, steamy puddings and cosy evenings beckon.
By the end of 2014, I was completely exhausted and frustrated, because I couldn't get the job I decided "I wanted", a corporate role in one of the big world photography agencies based in London... -how little I knew back then of what I really wanted! ; )
Yoga is not about money. It never can be, which is why it is wonderful that everyone and their dog is now a yoga teacher. A world full of yoga teachers is a world of conscious conscientious people who are actively trying to make the world a better place.
When I first signed up to do a yoga teacher training on an ashram nestled in the Himalayas, I never anticipated the challenge. I'd never done anything like this before and it was truly transformational.
