'Game of Thrones' Star Aidan Gillen in New 'I Draw Slow' Video

Game of Thrones actor Aidan Gillen (Petyr "Littefinger" Baelish) stars in the new video for "Valentine", the lead single from Irish band I Draw Slow's third album, "White Wave Chapel". Gillen even gets a good slap in the face from the Irish band's lead singer, Louise Holden.

I Draw Slow have a strong and growing following in Ireland. They are also in demand in the United States, where they are signed to Pinecastle Records, and have played at several major music festivals.

Shot in Dublin's Hacienda pub, the idea for the Valentine video was put together within four days. Director Hugh O'Conor played the song to Gillen, who quickly signed up to feature in the video.

"He spent a long day in there for no money," says Colin Derham, banjo player with I Draw Slow. "He was gracious and supportive and really believed in the tune. Louise had to slap him in the face maybe 12 times, and poor Aidan's jaw was starting to smart."

I've had a sneak peak of White Wave Chapel: it is a magnificent work with compelling, rich and mellifluous songwriting backed by an excellent production. I suspect that I Draw Slow will become full-time musicians in 2014.

White Wave Chapel will be released on February 21. Full album review to follow.
