The first step to a healthy happy home is the most obvious one - 'De Clutter'. Clutter causes headaches and relates to bogging down the mind with unhealthy emotions. Once you have had a full clean of your home, set aside 5 - 10 minutes each day for putting things away, making your bed, and keeping your bathroom clean, it makes a big difference!

House plants - plants in your home freshen and enrich the oxygen content of the air that you breathe adding naturally inspired textures and patterns to your décor. Plants are very balancing and harmonious - bringing clarity and productivity.

Keep Technology to an all-time low. Electromagnetic fields linger in your home causing negative energy. Keep TV watching to a minimum and make sure you choose to watch programmes which are uplifting and or enlightening. Also try to avoid TV in bed as this causes excessive dreams and prevents your mind from relaxing making it difficult for you to sleep soundly.

Make Time for Dinner. Put away newspapers, turn off the TV and homework. Work together to help prepare the meal. Each of you can help with washing the vegetables, cooking or laying the table. Dinner is a time for conversation away from all technology and time to be present with each other connecting.

Support your local farmers market. They're always a great venue to purchase fresh, healthy food directly from the farmer and grower. Fresh produce is a key part of a healthy lifestyle. Gratitude is the way to happiness.

Accessories around your home to create calm would be a Buddha which instantly creates tranquillity. Aromatherapy will purify, relax and energise and create a very sensual ambiance. Art is also extremely important, choose art that speaks to you and brings you joy each time you look at it.

Definitely do not forget candles which is a must as they involve the energy of in your home, are harmonious and healthy and help release daily stress.

Laugh each day - laughter is the best medicine. Being able to smile and laugh in your own home reenergises your spirit. One place you can clear your mind away from the outside world is at home.

Say 'I love you' every day to the people you love and cherish
