"No day is the same working as a multimedia journalist for Save the Children," writes Liz Scarff. "This week I'm in Bangladesh working on the charity's first big social and digital media campaign. The trip is in support of Save the Children's EVERY ONE campaign to save children's lives. If you would like to lend your support, head to: Press for Change. By joining your name to this campaign, you will help the charity put pressure on Nick Clegg as he goes to a UN Summit this month to end the global scandal of almost 9 million children dying every year.

"Work has taken me across the Sahara desert in a Lada and up the Karakorum Highway in Pakistan, but nothing competes with a journey to work on a seaplane. I spent today filming inspirational women like Afia, a Save the Children community health volunteer who walks miles every day to deliver healthcare to women and children in the remote areas of Bangladesh. This is why I get out of bed in the morning."
