Pretty Woman Penthouse Gets A Makeover

Pretty Woman Penthouse Gets A Makeover

Julia Roberts may be off to Italy, India and Bali for her movies these days, but for us she'll always be LA's Pretty Woman. So even 20 years on, when MyDaily heard the famous penthouse had been redesigned, it's still tempting to get a taste of the famous film.

Four Seasons

With 5,000 square feet of space, the penthouse at the Beverly Wilshire, as the old Regent Beverly Wilshire is now called, is the largest suite in Los Angeles. There's floor to ceiling windows, a wrap-around balcony with views of the city and Hollywood Hills, and Swarovski chandeliers and mosaic flooring.

The master bedroom has a 160 square foot walk-in wardrobe for any shopping trips to Rodeo Drive you might have planned, as well as antique mirrors, and silver leaf details on the bed frame. And you get your own personal concierge, a fridge stocked with your favourite food, and five hours of time at a spa, with a stylist, a personal trainer or hair and make-up artist per week.

Alas, it doesn't come with your very own multi-millionaire to pick up the price tag – a whopping $25,000 or around £16,250 per night.

On the plus side, once you've checked in, there's plenty of free fun in the City of Angels. As well as window shopping until you drop, you can sunbathe at the beach, or follow in the A-list's footsteps with some hiking.

And of course there's Hollywood history galore from Grauman's Chinese Theatre and the Walk of Fame to the famous sign while you can check out some other stars at Griffith Observatory.

Quick Facts: Room rates start at around £295 per night. The Beverly Wilshire is at 9500 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills. Visit www.fourseasons.com/beverlywilshire or call +1 310 275 5200.
