Catwalk Review: Ports 1961 S/S 2011

DESIGNER: Ports 1961 by Fiona Cibani

INSPIRATION: Desert landscapes

TOP LOOKS: A grey mineral printed dress; a beige utilitarian jacket with belt with matching skinny trousers; and a royal blue draped gown.

ACCESSORIES: Strappy heels; lace-up flats; clutches with bling; chunky bangles; and simple gold necklaces.

WHO WAS THERE: Olivia Palermo, Phillip Bloch, Eric McCormack

WHAT WE THOUGHT: Ports 1961 is normally designed by sister team Tia and Fiona Cibani, but this season Fiona took the reins. Standouts included very wearable subtle printed dresses and pretty outerwear items. We weren't a fan of the gowns embellished with large iridescent crystal stones. But we couldn't let that overshadow a stunning royal blue draped gown that can easily grace any black tie affair.
