DESIGNER: Mark Badgley and James Mischka for Badgley Mischka

INSPIRATION: It felt a little 1970s, but in a way that only Mark and James can do it - with glitz.

BEST LOOKS: Of course, the gowns were gorgeous. That's what these guys do best.

ACCESSORIES: Funny picture hats, platform wedge sandals, and piles of their own crystal bracelets

WHO WAS THERE: Gabrielle Union, Denise Richards, Kristin Cavallari, Kelly Rowland

WHAT WE THOUGHT: Sometimes, these designers show higher- and lower-priced collections separately. But in past seasons, they've been getting closer and closer to the point, this season, where they mix it all up. We appreciate that, because it's closer to how a woman puts together her wardrobe. The Badgley Mischka guys have it all: long formal gowns, shorter dresses that are still dressy, and some odd high-waist jeans. We're on the fence about these jeans - they're either prone to camel-toe, or they're super chic. We'll get back to you.
