Kids say the darndest things.
In eight-year-old Romeo Beckham's case, it's: "Mummy, can I get my own fashion label?"
That's right -- the middle son of David and Victoria Beckham is rumored to be designing a line of sunglasses for children called RB, the Mirror reports.
The apple certainly doesn't fall far from the tree -- designer mom Victoria already has her own line of dVb shades.
"Romeo has a real eye for fashion," a source told the paper.
"He has strong opinions on what works and what doesn't, and has been badgering David and Victoria for months about designing his own sunglasses.
"It is no passing whim -- Victoria said she'd only back the project if he was certain he wanted to do it.
"There is a gap in the market for designer kids' shades that are 100 percent UV protected and trendy.
"The glasses are made especially for children and will have a cool 'RB' motif on one arm. The range was originally going to be called Bambino Beckham.
"Both Victoria and David are delighted."
The precocious youngster has also reportedly enlisted celebrity offspring like Suri Cruise -- who, frankly, we're surprised didn't think of this first -- to help promote his shades.
Now we just need Shiloh Jolie-Pitt to come out with a line of kiddie combat boots and we're all set.
