Diary Of A 6-Year-Old: Supermarkets

Supermarkets are quite boring. I'm never allowed to get what I want to get, which isn't fair at all. Especially because I think the supermarkets want me to. They have those little shopping trolleys especially for kids and loads and loads of sweets.

Where we go they have my totally favorite breakfast box but I'm not allowed to have it. We have it when I go to stay with grandma and grandad though. Why do they put it right at the bottom if I'm not allowed to have it. It's not fair.

Last time I put it in my trolley anyway. I thought mummy hadn't seen it but then I didn't have any money so I had to take it back. It took me a long time to find the right place again. Then it was too late to go in the helicopter at the front so it was all rubbish. The helicopter is only 10p too. I had 10p in my rucksack. I won't take anything again without asking first.

You can buy absolutely everything in supermarkets though. They are the biggest shops in the world. I don't know why we need any other shops. You don't need to go anywhere else. They should knock down all the other shops and build dinosaur parks or beaches or swimming baths or something.

I think what would be really cool would be if they made the corridors a bit bigger. Then mummy could drive our car down them and we would just have to open the windows and take the things we wanted. Like at McDonald's.

That would be brilliant.
