Here are MyDaily, we're firm believers that fashion and ballet are a match made in heaven – so we're truly excited about this union. English National Ballet and London College of Fashion will tonight reveal the results of a year-long project at the Victoria & Albert Museum that celebrates the centenary of the Ballet Russes.
Students were asked to design a collection inspired by Serge Diaghilev's collaborations with creatives like Picasso, Schiaparelli and Chanel. The results are fabulous, and we quite fancy doing a pirouette in this stunning shredded tulle gown by Pui Yee Tong.
This evening, 25 selected students will show off their creations as part of a Ballets Russes Design Perspectives event. A film documenting the project and a live performance by six English National Ballet dancers will also be shown. And if you can't make it down there tonight, take a look at the London College of Fashion website to see the story so far.
