Julianne Moore might be on the cusp of a half century (it's her 50th tomorrow!) but she's still fabulous, as her cameo in the 2011 Pirelli calendar proves.
Ms Moore was persuaded to pose for the notorious calendar by none other than Mr Karl Lagerfeld, who presented the calendar with this year's theme "Mythology". Moore appears as the goddess of marriage Hera, and we think she looks pretty darn stunning.
The actress is joined by 15 female models including Erin Wasson, Natasha Poly and Lara Stone, and for the first time, the calendar includes male models including Lagerfeld muse Baptiste Giabiconi.
Unlike many of Hollywood's leading ladies, we love the fact that Julianne's not afraid to take a risk.
