Emily's got a boyfriend! And you know who it is? Simon McDonald! I thought she hated Simon McDonald. I think she just wants to play on his new bike but Emily says she's in love with him! She never wants to play with us any more. I don't really mind though because she just talks mushy stuff now anyway and yesterday they were holding hands at playtime.
Emily just smiles all the time but Simon McDonald is all red in his face. Emily told me they are going to get married but I wasn't allowed to tell anybody. I didn't tell anybody honestly I didn't, but today the whole class knew! Emily is a bit angry with me now. As well as that, I wore a red T-shirt with black dots on and everyone called me a ladybird.
Mummy says I shouldn't worry too much about it and that she doesn't think that they will really get married. You have to be old to get married anyway and I don't think they've even been out on a date yet. Peter Lister says you have to flip a coin to know if you are going to marry someone. Heads means you marry them and tails means you have to find a new one. Boyfriend I mean not coin.
I think you have to kiss before you get married. I wonder if Emily and Simon have kissed yet.
