In the midst of awards season, film's leading ladies are battling it out to win the best-dressed title. At the Producers Guild Awards in L.A. this weekend, it was Amy Adams and Helen Mirren who stole the show on the red carpet.

Both actresses opted for smart and chic LBDs and dared to bare in low-cut styles. Adams, who is nominated for a Supporting Actress award at the BAFTAs for her role in The Fighter, flaunted her curves in a particularly plunging number, fastened together with a studded butterfly-shaped broach.

However, she wasn't the only one showing off her figure. Mirren looked as lovely as always in a sequin-bodice dress teamed with peep-toe pumps and a satin clutch.

Watch this space to see if the actresses continue to impress at the BAFTAs next month.
