Olivier Theyskens' Theory Line Launches On Net-A-Porter Today

The moment we've all been waiting for since Olivier Theyskens left Nina Ricci has finally arrived: He's back.

The designer's first collection for Theory, Theyskens Theory, launches on Net-a-Porter today.

You may think that Theyskens - known for his Goth-inspired aesthetic and ethereal creations at Nina Ricci - and Theory (the sleek, workwear label with clean lines and flattering cuts) would be an odd couple, but Theyksens' collection of chic separates (with his signature compulsive attention to detail) is exactly what we want to be wearing right now (no wonder this capsule collection led to his appointment as creative director of the brand).

The designer plays with proportion and volume in a monochromatic and silver palette. The collection features wardrobe staples: think chiffon blouses, leather jackets and trousers, relaxed maxi-styles, cotton tanks and accessories like casual satchels, retailing from £80 to £880.

This collection has made us realise how desperately we miss Theyskens and how thrilled we are to have him back. Theyskens Theory will be making its catwalk debut during New York Fashion Week.

In the meantime, happy shopping!
