Broom, who was the winner of 'Best New Interior' for his restaurant design for Coquine in London and 'Best British Design' for his Carpetry Sideboard at the Elle Decoration British Design Awards in November 2010 says of the launch: "The Shop at Bluebird is without question one of my favourite stores in the world. I have always admired their originality and style, in particular how they combine fashion and interiors so effortlessly."

Paul Baptiste, head of buying at The Shop at Bluebird says of the collaboration: "Having followed Lee's work since his career began the buying team at the shop have been keen to introduce the Lee Broom brand to the ever expanding list of home design luminaries."

Broom, who trained with Vivienne Westwood before graduating from Central St Martins, is known for his quirky and original designs, including his best-selling Decanterlight, nominated for 'Best Product' at the Homes and Gardens Awards 2011.

To mark this latest collaboration, Broom has launched a new addition to the Decanter range called The Decanterlamp (pictured) in which wine and port decanters are piled up to form an elegant lamp base in either a transparent or white lacquered finish. The lamps are topped with either a white or cool grey shade.
