Catwalk Review: Jonathan Saunders A/W 2011/12

DESIGNER: Jonathan Saunders

INSPIRATION: The sheer elegance of the 30s and 40s.

TOP LOOKS: A turquoise bird print on burnt orange silk, belted jackets with long pencil skirts, retro patterns in miss-matched colours, a burgundy dress with a black velvet panel.

ACCESSORIES: None other than Louboutins.

WHO WAS THERE: Olivia Palermo, Tallulah and Yasmin Le Bon, VV Brown and Marina Diamandis.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: With hemlines ending below the knee, Saunders showcased a whole new proportion in his a/w collection. However, this show was all about the sensational colours and prints. The structured silhouettes only highlighted the utterly feminine feel further.
